Dordt University is a small, private Christian college located in Sioux Center, Iowa. The Dordt University football team competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). The football program at Dordt University has a strong tradition of excellence both on and off the field.
Dordt University football began in 2008 and has quickly become a competitive program within the NAIA and GPAC. The team is led by head coach Joel Penner, who has been at the helm since 2010. Coach Penner has led the team to multiple winning seasons and playoff appearances.
